Wait, so what is this show?

The Midlife Crisis Comedy Podcast Is A Spontaneous, Unique-Every-Time Experience That Helps Audiences Laugh At The Tough Parts Of Life.

The Midlife Crisis Comedy Show

is an entirely unique show incorporating traditional stand-up comedy, crowd interactions and improvised music!

  • First we have our audience put their names in a bucket for a chance to be a part of the show.
  • Second we draw those names at random and invite them on stage.
  • Third we get to know about the life of our new friend, their careers, relationships and any life experiences they choose to share
  • AND THEN, we improvise a song ON THE SPOT about our new friend, in a genre of their choosing.

Josh Novey

After serving in the U.S. Army, Josh started doing comedy at night and quickly found his voice. Since then, Josh has become a sought-after comedian. He works clean, so your mom will enjoy his charm. And your dad will think he’s tough because he’s a combat veteran.

After having his midlife crisis and buying a motorcycle, Josh had a stroke of genius and decided to start a podcast called *Let’s Have A Midlife Crisis*. He reached out to his comedian friend Paul and asked if he wanted to have a crisis together. He did. And the rest is future…

Paul Green

Paul started his comedy career performing improv at a local theater, in 2014 he tried stand-up for the first time and hated it…So he decided he should do it for the rest of his life.

Paul is also a trained musician as a piano player, guitarist, and percussionist. After Josh Novey saw Paul’s music improv ability he knew Paul was the guy to co-host his podcast, *Let’s Have A Midlife Crisis*. Paul was having a midlife crisis of his own, so the timing worked out perfectly.

FAQs

Josh and Paul both come from a clean comedy back ground and our content leans towards a PG/PG13 audience. However, sometimes an audience member we interview will be a little less clean then us, but overall you can anticipate about a PG-13 rating for the show.

Our show will last between 75-90 minutes.

No problem! We only call audience members on stage who put their name in the bucket. Sometimes, an audience member will put their name in the bucket then change their mind when called. We absolutely will NOT call anyone on stage who does not want to, and we will not pressure or give anyone a hard time who does not want to go on stage. We always have plenty of audience members who are exited to particiapte.

Josh and Paul are both seasoned performers and we LOVE our audience. We will always treat our audience guests members with a light hearted and fun nature.
